How to use the Temperature Alarm Sensor
In this guide, we will go over…
1.) Physical Installation
2.) Temperature Alarm Dashboard
This is your temperature alarm dashboard. You can see all of your different sensors in the “Alarm List” table on the bottom left. Configuration details of each sensor is outlined in the various columns of the table.
Press the “Edit Alarms” button to configure your temperature alarm sensor thresholds and phone numbers.
3.) Setting Alarms
Press the bell button “Edit Alarms” on the top left to open the alarm tool. Here you can set threshold that will trigger a phone call(s), email and Flora Cloud notification. You will receive at most 1 high temp alarm every 12 hours and 1 low temp alarm every 12 hours.
First, select the temperature alarm that you wish you modify. Input the low and high alarm thresholds in Fahrenheit. Select if you would like a phone call or not. Next, provide 2 phone numbers for Flora Cloud to call. If the primary person does not pick up the phone and press 1 to confirm receipt of the alarm, the backup person is called. If there is no backup person, input the same phone number twice.
4.) Interpreting the Data
High and low temp alarm events are recorded on the table to the right in your dashboard. With this historical data, you can know where you invest in expensive climate control measures and keep accurate logs of temperature extremes.
